Pollença
Pollença is one of our friendliest towns and has long been a firm favourite with families. It has a strong sense of community, shaped by local markets, fiestas and a year round energy that feels settled and genuine. The town is one of the largest in the Tramuntana, with a lively square, historic streets and an atmosphere people quickly connect with. Surrounded by mountains yet close to the coast, it offers a complete way of living that has drawn people back for generations.
Pollença works not only because of its town, but also its access.
From the town you are minutes from some of the island’s best beaches, from Port de Pollença and Cala Sant Vicenç to Alcúdia, Platja de Muro and Formentor. Cyclists love the Vall d’en March route into the mountains, climbing through Lluc and on towards Sa Calobra, while walkers have endless options straight from the doorstep.
The port adds another dimension. One side opens to a long sandy beach with shallow, clear water that is perfect for families, while the other follows the Pine Walk, shaded and right on the sea. Restaurants line the front, the yacht club anchors daily life, and sitting at Cappuccino with your feet almost in the water remains one of our favourite spots on the island. Together, town and port create something rare lively, open and easy, without ever losing its soul.
