The Centre
The Centre of Mallorca is shaped by vineyards, open countryside and a collection of villages that sit at the heart of the island’s agricultural life. From Santa Maria del Camí, Alaró and Binissalem to Bunyola, Porreres, Algaida, Montuïri and Sineu, this is where everyday Mallorcan life, community and strong social ties are most deeply felt.
Set between the foothills of the Tramuntana and the island’s open plains, the centre offers a deeply residential way of living.
Vineyards, olive groves and almond trees shape the landscape, while village life still revolves around markets, cafés, local restaurants and long held routines. Sineu’s historic market, Binissalem’s wine culture, Porreres’ agricultural roots and the steady, settled feel of villages like Algaida and Montuïri give the region its depth. Larger plots allow for generous fincas, space and privacy, while quiet lanes and open roads make the area naturally suited to cycling and walking. Palma remains within easy reach, but living here feels distinctly removed a part of the island chosen for its land, its way of life and its sense of community.
