Nestled on the western slope of the Tramuntana just minutes from Deia, this wholly unique property, co-conceived by its current owner and the prestigious Moredesign, offers unparalleled sea views, five beautiful bedrooms, and a sensational interior.
La primavera en el olivar is a rare gem, perfectly positioned on the Tramuntana's western slope, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean as well as direct line of sight to three historic landmarks: the 13th-century monastery of Son Rullan, Son Marroig with its iconic marble pavilion, and the dramatic Sa Foradada peninsula. This 45-hectare estate features a 10,000m² Mediterranean garden with a 50m² infinity pool, organic vegetable garden, and multiple outdoor relaxation spots. Inside, a remarkable collaboration between the current owner and Moredesign has created an exquisite home blending heritage with contemporary style. Its striking entrada features a magnificent Fibonacci spiral stairscase and grand piano, while the beating heart of the home is the adjacent and spacious kitchen, dominated by a spectacular island of local stone. This interconnects the house's living areas, with a west wing housing five beautifully appointed bedrooms, while a master suite at the east end of the layout enjoys its own private terrace with stunning sea views.
About the property
This remarkable house, and its surrounding 45 hectare estate, blend seamlessly with the landscape and historical context of the North West of the island. The extensive grounds include meticulously restored stone-walled terraces of centuries-old olive trees, arranged up the side of the mountain, as well as two natural water sources. The expansive gardens are perfect for outdoor activities, with a petanque court, fire pit lounge, and secluded spots for relaxation, while the 50m² infinity pool, overlooking the sea, invites a cooling dip, a serious swim or an afternoon of leisurely sunlounging. This property is not only a luxurious retreat, but a piece of the mountain itself, with every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance its natural beauty.
La primavera en el olivar interiors reflect a deep appreciation for Mediterranean aesthetic, with local stone, reclaimed doors and timbers, and soft natural hues creating a tranquil yet joyful atmosphere. The kitchen, with that wonderful central island, is as perfectly suited to catering restful family visits as it is to providing a focus when hosting larger parties. The adjoining dining room, and the living room at the other end of the house, offer comfort and elegance, with reclaimed fireplaces and panoramic windows enhancing the connection to the outdoors. Whether entertaining friends or enjoying a quiet retreat, this property caters to all needs, offering a unique combination of style, history, and natural beauty. A 'once in a lifetime' opportunity.

Deia
With dramatic views of the Mediterranean, the coastal village of Deia, in the North West of the island south of Soller, lies in a steep valley at the foot of the Teix mountain.
The village's unique and ever-changing ambience has been a magnet for artists, poets and writers for more than a century. In modern times it has been a home from home for some of the music business's best known names, whose privacy and anonymity are respected here by all, simply as a matter of course.
With its traditional green-shuttered, honey-coloured stone houses, Deia is one of the prettiest villages in the Balearics. In the centre of the Serra de Tramuntana World Heritage Site, from the village it's easy to spend unforgettable summer days dipping in and out of the sea at Cala Deia, travelling from cove to cove and dining on perfect paella at Ca’s Patro March. In the late afternoon, the sinking sun paints the surrounding mountains an incredible burnt orange, tinged with all the shades of indigo, violet and pink imaginable.
Evenings, too, are a delight in Deia. Dine at the Michelin-starred Es Raco des Teix or one of the other intimate eateries, before moving on to enjoy a fabulous late night at Sa Fonda.
