The West, Valldemossa
Surrounded by olive groves, pine forest and spectacular mountain scenery, this beautifully built new finca feels completely immersed in the Tramuntana. Complete privacy, exceptional sun and the quality of the house itself make it particularly special, all within easy reach of Valldemossa and Palma.
The house has been beautifully finished, with natural materials and details that give a newly built finca real warmth and character. A double height entrance leads into the open kitchen, dining and living space, with light coming in from three sides and doors opening directly onto the pool and terraces. The kitchen is beautifully done, with a natural stone island, Bora and Miele appliances and a separate preparation kitchen behind. Alongside the main living space is a lovely library and snug with a fireplace, giving the house another place to escape to. Two large bedroom suites sit on the ground floor, both with dressing areas and beautifully finished bathrooms, while upstairs the main bedroom and a further suite open onto a large shared terrace with gorgeous views across the Tramuntana. Stone and wooden floors, traditional shutters and beautifully considered finishes complete the house.

Valldemossa
The hilltop village of Valldemossa, in the North West of the island, is best known for its ancient, and rather romantic, Carthusian monastery, which dates from the fourteenth century.
Valldemossa has been promoted around the world as a place of exceptional beauty and charm for more than two hundred years, and its history and associations make it a something of a magnet for those on the lookout for a second home. Indeed, anyone buying here will be in distinguished company. The composer Chopin, and his lover Amantine Dupin, better known as George Sand, lived here in the nineteenth century, setting the precedent for the countless musicians, writers and artists to have lived here since.
Valldemossa's appeal is perhaps most aptly summed up by a longterm resident of the modern era, the actor Michael Douglas, who has described it as "the place I love most in the world".
