Puerto Portals
Puerto Portals, in the South West, is one on the most coveted spots on the entire island.
Essentially a chic marina with lovely beach clubs, fashionable bars, sumptuous restaurants and luxury boutiques, you can stroll from one end to the other in just a few minutes. On that walk, you are likely to encounter some of the most beautiful cars and spectacular yachts imaginable. Puerto Portals is all about luxury boats. If you like to talk boats, admire boats or moor your own boat, this is the place to do it.
That said, Puerto Portals is not without other diversions. Platja de l'Oratori, adjacent to the marina, is a lovely stretch of sheltered beach with soft, golden sands and invitingly calm waters. There are elegant shops selling the expected designer labels and luxury brands, and an excellent choice of restaurants around the marina. When the mood takes you, Michelin-starred chef Fernando Perez Arellano's Baiben serves quite exceptional Mediterranean cuisine.
